Dying Shagbark Hickory

Dying Shagbark Hickory

I live in Ulster County, NY. We have several very large Shagbark Hickories. They've been very healthy. This morning, I noticed one of the trees had virtually all of its leaves dried up and shriveled. The others right near it, seem healthy. It has happened very quickly. Maybe a matter of a few days. Any ideas? Is it a disease? I understand they are quite disease and pest resistant. Anything I can do?

Thanks!
