I live in Central Texas. i have 45 acres and am still loosing Oaks at a pretty fast rate. They first start having chunks of bark missing then a whole line of missing bark appears on 1 side of the tree. I pulled a piece of bark still on and there are little dark brown beetles under it. The skin of the tree where the bark is removed is covered in a dark tan dusty substance. Once this goes on for awhile the tree out right dies. What could be causing this? I have detailed pictures if viewing them will help.

Many Thanks,
Chris
