I Live in south Florida and had two 7' sylvester palms planted (by "professionals")three months ago. They waited over two months to untie the fronds and now all the fronds are brown where they were tied. The installer says this is normal. Some are green on either end but are brown and gathered where they were tied. The very top and bottom look okay but the middle of the canopy looks bad.
I have been watering as directed by my landscaper. Is this type of browning normal?
Thank you, Ted
