Liburnum has today dropped all its leaves - is it dead?

Hi all

Pictures attached of our Liburnum. Planted 1 year ago and it appears to be unwell. It has shed almost all its leaves (pretty much overnight).

Bark pics also attached. All pictures here: [drive.google.com]https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Wl5N_ey87_6Xgiw7Ayo-PIm9QAwMuniq?usp=sharing

Should the tree be removed to avoid infection of other trees in close proximity? Can it be treated? Is it just more water required?

There are also brown spots on the leaves of the Liburnum next to it.

Thank you.

Regards,
Craig
