We planted a young willow tree last fall. It's about 10 feet tall...small. This spring we are seeing a couple of the branches turn very dark brown...it appears they might be dying. The tree does have some buds appearing on those branches that are not brown. We had a very difficult winter and an ice storm caused it to be bent over and buried in the snow for a couple of days. Should I remove the dark branches?
