Hi Dennis,

I realize it's been a long time since you wrote about the borers in your trees, but knowing which borer you have would be helpful. Here's some info from The Texas Agricultural Extension Service.

It would be helpful to have an id of your pest so you know what you can use to fight it. I would suggest you contact your local extension service for further guidance.
