We have had this tree for approximately 20 years. Last year it had an early leaf drop (early August) which we assumed was due to dry weather. This year the leaves went brown in late July and are dropping. We live in North Staffordshire.
We have noticed that it drops a sticky substance onto our caravan which is partly underneath the tree. Is this normal or is it diseased. Any advice will be most welcome.
