hi, i wonder if anyone can help me with this query, i planted a couple of 3 foot leylandii to fill a gap in the fence, and one of them was only in a week or so when something landed or fell on the growing centre shoot of one of them and snapped it off at an angle down the shoot;

since then it is filling out nicely but hasnt grown an inch in height which is rather defeating the purpose, will it ever grow up or should i just dig it out and plant another?

due to the constant rain the other one is streching out nicely, any advice appreciated
