We have 2 willow trees one belongs to next door and one is ours. Both these trees have been virtually stripped of all leaves. having a closer look there are hundreds small green black headed caterpillars eating away at the leaves. They are dropping black small drpooing below. You can hear them as well.

What can be done to stop them a) on the tree and b) spreading to other plants
