Hi Deb,

I'm guessing you have a Ficus benjamina as they tend to drop their leaves if you look at them wrong! I would say to be patient. If you flushed the pot well after the potential fertilizer burn, resume watering the way you always have. It may take 2 months or more before you see new leaves.
