So sorry to hear this. Tell the gardener to start shopping! It will look like a tree again but will have so many sprouts that it will be ugly and top heavy. You can show the gardener these sites.

By the way, I've never heard of a knotted willow. Is this a curly willow aka corkscrew willow aka Salix matsudana?
