I can see thee's has been no answer yet. My bay tree is 12 feet high and is suffering with Yellow, then dried brown leaves. They curl and blacken. I've tried watering it more and less. I've noticed snail trails up the trunk, but can see no other bugs on it. The tree is well established and properly pruned. We've recently re landscaped the garden laying a new lawn. The Bay Tree is almost the only original plant in the garden, but other than pruning back in the spring, nothin ghas changed. Any ideas?
