TrustMark is a government endorsed scheme that helps consumers find reliable, trustworthy tradesmen to make improvements and repairs inside and outside their home. The scheme covers a wide variety of trades, from aerial installers to underfloor heating specialists; brick layers to washing machine service engineers. It is supported by government, the building industry and consumer protection groups.

Companies are assessed by Approved Scheme Operators, each of which specialises in assessing particularly trades. The addition of BASE UK Ltd to the list of Approved Scheme Operators for the first time brings tree surgery within the scope of the TrustMark scheme.

Ray Ferris of TrustMark commented

"We are extremely pleased to see BASE UK join TrustMark as an approved Scheme Operator. This now fills a previous gap in our offering to the public, The TrustMark office has been receiving an increasing number of enquiries from members of the public looking for trustworthy, reputable and reliable Tree Surgeons. Up until now, we have been unable to recommend firms"

BASE will be marketing the scheme under the banner "Tree Care Approved". is already talking to BASE about including companies accreditted through them in our Find an Arborist listings.
