Japanese magnolia not blooming
|Posted by Patty , Feb 13,2005,14:55||Forum|
Last year my Japanese magnolia had scale infestation. We treated it successfully in the fall with Ultra Fine pesticidal oil. This year I had no pods and now no blooms on the entire tree.
The tree appears to be dormant or dead. Is there a chance that the scale interferred with blooming for this season and the tree will come back next year?
We have had this beautiful tree for many years I live in Southern Louisiana. Thanks.
