I am looking at buying a house which has a willow tree in the back garden. It is planted about 7m from the house and is about 3m tall. It is over 6 years old. After reading all the problems a willow tree can cause to the foundations of a house I think it would be best to remove it.
What is the safest way to do this without causing any damage / heave / subsidence.
