life of laburnum and flowering cherry
I have a very old laburnum and flowering cherry in my garden - at least 30 years (when we moved in) and probably more like 50 years old. Some large branches are splitting. Roots are growing up through the lawn (by about 6 inches in several places) and raising my pathway. I am afraid roots may also be going under the house. How old do they normally grow? Do I have a case for having them removed (since they are protected)?
