Red Acer

Posted by Stuart Trotter , May 08,2005,21:31       Forum

Please help, we have a fantastic red leaf Acer in our garden, & this year it has only got leaves on 50% of the tree, it seems to have shut down 2 or 3 main branches??

Someone said it may be lack of water, although it isn't particularly sheltered from the rain. I have in the past few days been leaving a hose dribbling at the base for an hour or two.

Is there anything else I can do for it as we would be gutted to see it die.
