grapefruit tree, indoors

Posted by Robert , Jun 06,2005,17:38       Forum

My 35+ year old grapefruit tree, kept indoors from late October to early June, a seedling gift from my then 3 year old niece, is oozing a great deal of a very sticky substance. Most of the leaves are sticky and shiny. The pot rim and floor around the tree is sticky. What, if anything, do I do about the oozing? With what and how do I wash the tree?
