Weeping Cherry

Posted by Pat Stanley , Jun 07,2005,20:03       Forum

I have a weeping cherry which has been in the garden for 12+ years - for the past 2 years and again this year there has been a magnificent show of blossom but not all the blossom drops off and there is a sticky resin coming out of some of the branches.
I have tried my best to prune out the affected branches again. Last year - in August - it was sprayed with Bordeaux Mixture and I hoped that would solve the problem but it has happened again.
I live in mid- Derbyshire.
