Hi Jenny,

This site you have written to is located in the UK and appears to have been abandoned by the folks that started it. I try and answer as many questions as I can, but I'm not a certified arborist, just an enthusiast. My gut reaction is that you will not see new growth and probably need to remove them. Leylands are not considered good trees. I would suggest that you write to this US site for confirmation of my assesment.
