Hi Earl,

Is this an ornamental cherry or a fruit producing one? If fruited - sour or sweet cherry? Any spots on the leaves? Ant dropping twigs? Has anything changed in the environment within the last year or two? Is there lawn under the canopy and possibly fertilizer or herbicide has been used? Is there a layer of mulch and, if so, is it up against the trunk? How thick is the mulch? Do you water the lawn or tree? How often and for how long? Are you in the US, if so where?
