poplar trees
we have 5 very tall poplar trees in a line along one boundary of our garden. The neighbours want to build on their side and the foundations will cut the roots about nine or ten feet from the trees. Will this be fatal for the trees in the sense that they will either die or become so unstable that they fall over in the wind? Or can we just monitor them and see how they take it?
