Hi John,

This site you have written to is located in the UK but has been abandoned by the folks who started it. I try and answer as many questions as I can, but I'm in the US. With that said, I often find that though we both speak English, it's not always the same language. I'm saying this because I looked up 'spinney' and it appears to be a small grove of trees. If I'm wrong, do correct me. If that is the case I'm wondering if ALL the newly planted trees are effected, just some of the newly planted trees, all the trees in the spinney including the mature ones or just some trees.

I'd like to know exactly what is happening with the leaves. Are they turning yellow, turning brown, any spots, holes, any herbicide spraying nearby or around the base for weed removal, lots of rain, has it been hot where you are, has he been watering and if so, how much and how often?
