Soil type for tree suitability
|Posted by Vivien Mullett , Jan 17,2006,16:59||Forum|
We are looking to plant a tree near kirkcubright, south west scotland.
The type of tree we are looking at is the Alder because the site is boggy and near to a burn but I read that the Alder does not like acidic soil.
The site is a 'green burial' area so we have no way of testing. Can anyone offer any advice on this query, please?
Thank you Vivien
