japanese maple split in 3
|Posted by corky , Feb 09,2006,21:37||Forum|
Hi this winter, i came outside to find my beautiful 12' japanese maple trunk split into 3 pieces, I believe my new cat was the culprit. His weight on the frozen tree, was too much to maintain. I duct taped it a bit but of course the cat still insists on climbing his favorite tree. can this tree be saved and any suggestions , its about 8 years old, and so beautiful in the summer.
thanks for any suggestions
