New olive tree

Posted by Rachel Webb , Jun 08,2006,19:39       Forum

I have been given a 1 and a half to 2 foot olive tree for my 30th Birthday. It came in a very small pot with hardened soil. I have since repotted it in a much larger pot with multi-purpose compost and put it in the garden in a very sunny spot since it has been sunny. I ahve been watering it a little but not too much. Unfortunately it does not seem to be doing too well- leaves are darkening to brown and dropping off from apparently healthy branches. New leaves are forming at the tops, but it is looking a little bare at the moment. Any advice?
