I planted a young acer tree about 2 months ago and followed directions to use an erricacious compost. I watered it well for a couple of weeks and then reduced the amount of watering. We have had a hot sunny spell and the tree seems to have suffered - resulting in dry brittle leaves. Is it possible that I might have over watered it?
Please advise how I should continue to care for this plant.
Thanks Margaret MacNamara
