Fallen Eucalyptus

Hi - My forty year old eucalyptus tree has fallen over today.Approx' one third of the roots seem to have suffered minimal damage and I wandered if anyone has had any experience of a tree recovering and regrowing itself.Any observations would be greatly appreciated.Thanks
