new house established trees

Posted by karen pocock , Jan 28,2007,18:49       Forum

i am about to purchase a new house with 4 large very old established trees(?type) in the back garden, all within about 6 metres of the property. Can these be taken down, do i need planning permission, who and how do i go about this and will this affect foundations of my house. Should the builder not have looked into this before developing property? thank you
