Management of Willow close to House

Posted by Graham , Feb 20,2007,14:16       Forum

I recently have moved into a house with a mature willow (weeping I think) that is close to the house.

As the house was built after the roots were established I have ruled out the possibility of removal, but am concerned about how much pruning can help.

The branches overhang the house, and next door's garden - in the recent high winds the bare branches were snagging the roof tiles, consequently I have to do some remedial work at least.
