Single Red Hawthorn Tree
| Posted by Bernard Yeo , Feb 24,2007,09:24 | Forum | ||||
I have a single red flowering hawthorn tree in my garden which is very old, possibly 70 yrs.
It has a split in the trunk and is showing signs of rot within this split I have also discovered what looks like worm holes adjacent to the rot.
The tree looks fine otherwise.
Can anyone advise on a treatment to rescue this lovely old tree, which I do not want to lose.
I could supply photo's if that would assist.
