Dragon tree [Dracaena]

I have an absolutely HUGE dragon tree which has 3 'trunks'. The tree is in my living room but has outgrown the room's 9 foot height and is bending precariously! The tree looks healthy but soon won't be if it snaps!
As I have nowhere else suitable to keep this lovely plant, I want to know if I can cut each of the 'trunks' to make new plants and how I need to do this. I really hope someone can help!
