Cutting or pruning weeping willow trees
We own a fairly large weeping willow which overhangs a public road and we need to cut off some of the lower branches as they could be hazardous to pedestrians and cars/lorries. There is no obvious water source and the tree is about 10 metres from our house. We are worried that any pruning or cutting of branches will damage the tree and/or effect it's root system/water collection. Are there any problems associated with cutting weeping willows please ?
