UK Tree Care - http://www.oak-wood.co.uk/uktc/

I find the historical threads interesting, though I
don?t wish to re-live the past, I?m curious as to when
actual tree surgery came into play, was it the US or
UK that prompted professional tree surgery or was it a
simple spin off from horticultural practise? I also
wonder when arboricultural consultancy/reporting was
first taken seriously?

I have old black and white Oregon photo's depicting
ravaged looking men taking down enormous Douglas
Fir/Redwood, where can I obtain more photo's of the US
and Canadian pioneer days of tree removal?
