Are we getting a tad American in our outlook in looking for someONE to blame
for spread of A. If this becomes the norm do we start looking at Dutch Elm,
windborn nasties or Phytopheras and start blaming someONE - what about
someone buying a new house where an A infected tree has been felled, ground
out and reinstated prior to purchase but A. is looking at a juicy new host
next door - is the new owner liable? - - Ah-ha - a thought has just
occurred - get one case like this one through the courts and it opens the
floodgates for more work, more report writing, more litigation, ------------
is this the dastardly plot ?
