I did an ALLMI lorry loader course some years ago and received a handout on the safe operation of lorry loaders. I don't know where that copy is now but I am sure is greatly superseded by LOLER and PUWER. I assume you have tried Liam at ERYRI woodlands liamarbor@xxxx.com Tel 01766 890495. I know he has had cause to look into lorry loaders recently.

I am sure you know where ALLMI are at, but if you need it I have an address for them someplace

I am trying to get together as much information as possible on the use and health and safety requirements in the use of a crane for sectional dismantling.

 

I am of course aware of LOLER and PUWER regulations, but my research has also led me to the Association of Lifting and Loading Equipment Manufacturers (ALLMI)  

 

I understand that ALLMI have this year published a code of practice

 

Has anyone seen this code or know how relevant it might be to the tree care industry?
