Obviously a Ted Green fan, I would applaud many of his
ideas, though I do have reservations regarding a few
of his beliefs e.g. dead standing trees are less
likely to fail than living healthy trees? Though the
courts are likely to consider the 'forseeabale
potential' that dead trees are likely to progressively
decompose and fracture at a greater rate or are more
likely to fail than the healthy 'less foreseeable
potential for failure' of the healthy living specimen.

Lets move into these issues Re: ecosystems and
environmental sustainability v public safety and why
not..... at least it takes us away from some guys
concern whether a neighbours leaves belong to him or
his neighbour???? unless of course we are talking
'potential actionable nuisance' for building damage
caused through damp inducement by leaf litter in the
guttering!!
