Steve

I'll assume your having a go at me. Take a look at the
facts as we all see them.

SRA was written by a very clever man, it was then
marketed by the AA from day one as a very clever tool
and a useful commercial product, unfortunately it's
author said it could not work, as did almost all
Arborists in the UK and therefore it is no longer a
useful commercial product nor a clever tool (though I
put this forward in an article in HW two years ago).

Pruning trees to abate soils subsidence has yet to be
proven. The ISAE mortgage module template will
radically alter these data accordingly and in the near
future.

I am not anti-AA, I am simply anti - bad
Arboricultural practise and SRA is bad, bad for
clients, bad for education and most of all bad for
trees. Bin SRA and I'll be a happy man, continue to
flout it and tell me it's in its early stages and I
will continue to criticise very strongly. Call a spade
a spade - IT DONT WORK AND NEVER WILL!

SRA users with websites simply delight me, how on
earth can they sit back, evaluate the system and its
many flaws and then produce the SRA accreditation on
their web sites as the definitive risk assessment for
trees and subsidence. Personally I think it's
frighteningly unprofessional.

Steve, you say I don't like the AA, well I'm sending
my cheque in for the increased (get us out of bother)
2000 subscription in January. The reason - I have
always liked the AA, though one or two of its officers
and a system or two didn't agree with me. AA have a
profound effect on the tree industry in the UK, though
further educational data from other organisations can
only be helpful.

Until you realise that the AA and ISA have a unique
common goal, well.......

As for personal fame, you'll need to consider ITP
status before your fully accepted!

Paul H.
