I regret that Paul Hawksford is providing misleading information
The NAA were not invited to whatever meetings took place in London last
weekend and therefore were not formally represented and made no agreements
regarding the formation of the Consulting Arborist Society UK.
The NAA has a number of Arboricultural Consultants in its membership and
welcomes the opportunity to discuss any initiatives that may improve the
business skills of those members. The NAA is not however, in a position to
jointly form such a society with the ISA or any other organisation.
The NAA is willing to co-operate with any other tree organisation to improve
tree care in the UK (and anywhere else).
We look forward to positive and constructive discussions on a wide variety of
subjects with a number of organisations in the coming months.
Nick Beardmore
Chairman NAA UK
