Dominic Scanlon
Tree Officer (Planning Dept)

Reasons given for pruning the same as the other responses

Unusual reason - probably the best we've had was:
"the tree is threatening my wife"?????!!!
"my wife thinks it is going to crush our house, but I have to admit she also
thinks Hay Tor rocks will roll down and crush it as well". Hay Tor is an
enormous granite tor/slab of rock on Dartmoor - about 1 mile from the
persons house - (for those not living in Devon.) and has been there for a
few million years.
"It's a mouse trap set to pounce"?!?
