I very much sympathise with your view. Most European countries seem to
subsidise the route to reusing 'waste' materials but 2 jags has'nt yet
grabbed hold of it yet.
There is start up subsidy for recycling initiatives but if the long term
Financial viability is not there, to start a programme would seem to be a
waste of money
The big clue is in awakening a market in the public perception of some of
the
things we do and have
eg
Use for old trees in Play areas
Use for woodchip as amenity or as fuel
Use of native hardwoods rather than imports
