The first thing i would say is, tub grinders are not actually the most
effisent form of shredding for many materials.

What is your raw material and what are you hoping to produce?

Second most ofthe main hire companies do nation wide stuff, obviously there
are haulage implications, but if you get the right maching you can save
money.

Also what volume of material do you have to shred? this will guide the size
of the machine you are going to need.

The company i have dealings with for shreding run some huge machines called
MABE 500bhp and a selectin of screeners, they are the tree fella in essex
and can be called on 01702 XXXXXX, there are others such as gannon but i do
not have their number availible.

hope this helps.

Kev Moore

Does anyone have any ideas as to where one could find a large tub-grinder
for hire - preferably within the West Country?

Thanks,

Matthew
