I know a good way of making tree inspection sheets look old

just fill it in to suit the situation - pick the date carefully

rub in a bit of dust of the floor, sprinkle with vinegar and pop it under
the grill for five minutes

then present to your barrister and hey presto - authentic record of
inspection,

this also works for TPO confirmation slips

only kidding

Steve -

And indeed all of you out there who are not inspecting trees:

Just a thought but would the occasional use of consultants help with
your
backlog?

I know of several LA's who are going down this route and its got to be
better than doing nowt until someone gets squashed. Now I know what
you're
thinking, we haven't got any money to spend on fees for tree
inspections.

Thing is though, you must have some budget and what is more important
than
keeping the ratepayers alive?

I admit that it is difficult for me to imagine what it must be like for
you,
as the only time I had to work as a public servant was as a consultant
for
the highway authority: last year the 800 miles of trunk road verge I
managed
attracted a budget for trees and hedges of just over £140K!

Seriously though, us consultants can help as many LA's have found out.

Cheers,

Julian.
