I bring glad tidings for once -
A well-known but rather modest arboriculturist has just passed the final
stage of ICF examinations for MICFor, with all units taken as arboricultural
rather than silvicultural modules.
This has only been made possible by his unstinting efforts to help the ICF
into an arboriculture-based examination structure, that bore first fruit
last year with the RFS PD Arb. being accepted by the ICF as a Part I
qualifier.
No more excuses for the rest of us and very many congratulations to Dave
Dowson MICFor.
I for one will be signing up with him & Treelife next year, as there is no
better arboricultural educator around.
