Not at
all. eg House built not in accordance with NHBC 4.2. A lorry backs into it and
whole house collapses. You can argue that the whole house wouldn't have
collapsed if it had proper foundations but the cause of it collapsing was still
the lorry. And if you change the word lorry, to "tree roots causing
desiccation"............
