Hi John,
What about using the UK Forestry Standard (1998) as a guide for setting out
Perfomance Indicator parameters? Also, there is the UK Woodland Assurance
Scheme (2000). Both documents define "appropriate and effective forest
management" in the UK and can be downloaded in pdf from the FC website at:
http://www.forestry.gov.uk

Subject: Woodlands - Best Value
I know Best Value is not the most popular aspect of the forum so I
apologise
in advance but I am desperate.
Does anyone have any info they could share on performance indicators for
woodlands to satisfy best value requirements.
Thanks in advance
John
