If you've an enormous Beech with YOUNG fruiting bodies of Ganoderma adspersum on one side only, say the side facing the target, (DMP may reveal limited decay at present) and given that the tree leans over a busy duel carrigeway, do you give consent to fell? My experience is that this thing ain't gonna get better and pruning will compound the problem - so, a matter of time before failure! But it's your time to decide whether now or later and later may be too late if you know what I mean? Would you consent to fell it??
