Continuing with Thursday mornings heavy theme.
I've always thought that when on a college course, the tutors should bring
in a dead pig and take a chainsaw to it just to show how easily it can
destroy flesh. Its an image that would stay in those young brains and act as
a reminder.
But then again it may put them off Arb for life, plus cause nightmares &
shock. Probably sue the college!>
When I did by NCH the students were taken to meet an old chap who had been
using chainsaws since they were invented and certainly before anti vibration
rubber was introduced or ear defenders were standard. He was deaf as a post
and had extremely gnarled hands. Sobering and actually a very good lesson
when you're starting out. Fell short of carving up dead animals but along
the same lines.
