Rainfall - subsidence.

Subject: Rainfall - subsidence.

A recent phenomenon.
Claimants representatives are suddenly, in some numbers, noting that the
summer of 2004 has been very wet.

This allows statements such as, 'the cracks started in the end of 2004
following the drought of that summer and only the very wet summer of 2003
has prevented the damage worsening - so you must remove tree/ pay, etc,
etc,'

As far as I am aware the summer of 2004 has been quite normal for rainfall -
whatever normal means these days - I refer to London and S/E. Anyone have
the figures to hand?
