Paul,

Yes the AA does read this.....

The logo has recently been re- registered and is now more enforcable
directly by the AA.

Please send details through to Sue at admin@xxxxxx.org.uk

Obviously once in the YP it is impossible to remove them that year.

Send them over we'll see what we can do.

Guy Watson.

The new YP is just out in N. Ireland. One reasonably sized advert within
the
treework section has the AA logo with the words 'Approved Climbers' at
it's
base (looks like it's been scanned in - different font). What are the
implications of this? Do the AA pursue these people to court, given that
the ad
can't be changed and the public will undoubtedly be well and truly duped?
The
AA contractor approval is a superb achievement and this sort of plagiarism
undoes a lot of hard work. If the AA read this, please get in touch and
I'll
scan the ad details over to you.

Cheers...

Paul H.
